Work-based Learning
Work-based learning (WBL) is part of the curriculum of university programmes. The modules include Machine Vision Software and Hardware, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, and Robotics and Automation.
Currently, ViTrox has industry-academia collaborations for this programme with ViTrox Academy, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Forward School. Students who enrol on the programme of respective institutions have the opportunity to learn on-the-job on ViTrox’s premises and work hand-in-hand with an industry coach on industry-specific projects for at least one semester.
Through our WBL programme, you will learn real-world technical knowledge from the on-site industry experts and solve the industry problems together. You will be guided along by industry and academic coaches, they will facilitate the training, learning and assessments throughout the programme.
You can connect and network with professionals in the industry and stay relevant in the field. This connection sets you apart from other students when it comes time to start your career. WBL can lead to full employment after graduation if you are the right talent!
Apart from learning real-world technology, you will also be able to develop soft skills and cultural intelligence that will make you more resilient to face challenges in the workplace and participate well in an increasingly global workforce. The programme structure and syllabi are up-to-date and constantly remain relevant with technological and industrial requirements changes.
